During the production process of PE pipe fittings, due to the influence of the environment, certain defects will be formed on the surface of the pipe, such as rough surface or groove defects.
If the surface of the product of the PE pipe fitting manufacturer is rough, it may be because the temperature of the main engine head is too high or too low, resulting in a rough surface. The core mold temperature is low, and the body temperature is too low, which is easy to cause the inner surface to be rough. The cooling temperature is too high and the surface is rough. In this case, the PE pipe fitting manufacturer should check the waterway, check whether there is blockage and insufficient water pressure, check whether the heating ring is damaged, check the performance of the raw material, consult the raw material supplier, clean the temperature mold core, and open the mold if the temperature is higher than the mold section. Core temperature adjustment device to check and clean the mold for impurities.
If there is a groove in the pipe, the PE pipe fitting manufacturer should check and adjust the outlet of the water curtain of the casing, balance the pressure, adjust the angle of the nozzle to make the pipe cool evenly, and check whether there are debris or burrs in the casing, cutting machine and other objects.
Repair method of PE pipe fittings: When the damaged part of the outer wall of the PE pipe is within 0.1m of the broken pipe wall or broken hole, use a scraper to completely remove the broken pipe wall or broken hole. Use cyclic ketone to clean the surrounding parts within 0.05m, and brush with plastic glue with good water resistance. Then, take an arc-shaped plate with twice the damaged area from the corresponding part of the same pipe, apply velcro paste on the inner wall of the damaged part, and bind it with lead wires. If there are reinforcing ribs on the outer wall of the pipe, remove the reinforcing ribs within 0.05m around the damaged part, scrape off the traces of no reinforcing ribs, and take the same method as above to remedy.
When there are local or small cracks or holes on the outer wall of the PE pipe within 0.02m, the water in the pipe can be drained first, the damaged part can be cleaned with cotton yarn, and then the base surface is brushed with cyclic ketone, which has good water resistance. The board with similar shape and size is taken from the corresponding part of the unused pipeline, bonded, wrapped and fixed with geotextile, and the soil can be restored after 24 hours of curing.
